Ok so it seems I am behind on my blog. Hmmm...I don't remember what I did on Sunday. I know I went to the gym, but what did I do? I believe it was just the usual treadmill and/or elliptical.
I remember being at the gym for an hour and a half because I had to run some errands for a my sister. She asked me if I could take her to drop her rental car off. When she called it was 10am and I did not leave the gym til 11:30. I believe that was the day I did 40 minutes on the treadmill.
My eating habits weren't the best. I did not eat until I got home from the gym. I grabbed a couple fruit packs to take with me for snacks until I got to my aunt's house for dinner. I did not eat a lot of everything she had which was turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and cabbage. I stayed away from the mashed potatoes entirely, but dressing is my weakness and I had two helpings. What would possess her to cook that and it is not even Thanksgiving? Sheesh! Although it was bad, I have done much worse.
I had a conversation with my cousin who lost a tremendous amount of weight after she learned she had diabetes. She said I should be eating 4 or 5 times a day. I have heard that so many times and it's crazy because I can skip 1 or 2 meals some days, but I end up eating a lot in the meals that I do eat. So, I am going to incorporate this method of eating to see how it changes my progression.
I weighed myself and I have not lost or gained any weight after the initial 7 lb loss in the first week. Obviously that was water weight. I assume that because I am lifting weights that the scale is not changing anytime soon. I think I am going to stay off of the scale for the rest of the month. I can see a small difference in my stomach and I am getting stronger.
